- Start with a good cut. Remove all the split ends and the damaged hair which can make you hair look thinner and damaged. It can also prevent your hair from growing.
- However, forget the myth of getting a trim often. Don't trim your hair too much. Let it grow!
- Every week deep condition your hair with an oil of your choice. I recommend using coconut oil or almond oil.
- Braid your hair or put it up in a bun every so often. From my experience in the summer, I had my hair tied up all the time. I noticed that it grew an immense amount when the summer was over.
- Watch your diet. Eat healthier food. Eating healthy can impact your hair growth in a great way.
- Take vitamin supplements. Vitamins can strengthen your hair, nails and your overall body.
- Drink lots of water. Water hydrates your body, as well as your hair.
- Limit your use of heat. If heat is being used, then remember to use a good heat protectant. A heat protectant can limit the heat damage.
- Don't stress about your hair! Love your hair the way it is. YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL!
